A Tech Medical School is an educational institution that teaches subjects related to Health Sciences. Along with imparting the basics to become a medical doctor, its responsibility also lies in the area of medical research and employing actual medical practices for the suffering patients. Organizing Structure The criteria of gaining admission, curriculum and teaching methodology vary around different parts of the world. They are highly competitive with state of art facilities and faculty, using entrance examinations to narrow down the selection criteria for the aspiring students. The curriculum includes 4 (or 5) years' of full-time study along with 1 year of internship. The study period imparts theoretical and practical knowledge to the students. The internship phase makes them to have actual hands-on experience and practice on the patients. At the end of the full course, the institute or the University confers the title of (Medical) Doctor (M.B.B.S., B.D.S., M.D., M.D.S.) to the graduate.
