Symbiosis Entrance Test Commonly Known As SET

Symbiosis entrance test (SET) is the single written entrance test necessary for admission to the Symbiosis Undergraduate Institutes of SIEC Deemed University. It is a compulsory written test for admission to undergraduate program of the Symbiosis institutes. Though, it is simply the first step. Each Symbiosis institute has its independent assortment process student aspire to pursue an undergraduate program at Symbiosis needs to follow few main and major steps. They are like online registration, payment of test fee, printing admit card, appearing for the test.

1. Take the Symbiosis Entrance Test commonly known as SET.

2. Register online. The last date for Registration is always mentioned few months before.

3. Pay fees for the Symbiosis Entrance Test.

4. The Test fee is approximately around rupees 500/-. It is non-refundable. One may pay either through Cash or crossed demand draft or through credit card.

5. Prints admit card- Admit card is compulsory and is required for admitting a candidate at the test centre. Print the admit card from the SET website on any date that is mentioned in the site. Paste the latest passport-size photograph on the admit card.

Appear for the Symbiosis Entrance Test:

Appear for the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) on the given date. On the test day, bring the admit card with the photograph pasted on it to the test centre. Make sure to bring the photo-identity to the test centre. An adequate photo identity is any one of the following:

1. Passport 2. Driving license 3. College or institute identity card 4. Hall ticket of XII standard examination

At the time of the test, an authorized person will verify and authenticate the admit card against the photo-identity presented. Remember that any candidate not producing a satisfactory photo-identity will not be allowed to take the entrance test. The decision of the authorized person is final in this regard. Preserve this authenticated admit card for further selection processes at individual the institutes wherever one applies.

Results of the entrance test:

The test results will be sent directly to all the Symbiosis institutes. The individual Institutes, wherever one applies, will proclaim the names of the short listed candidates as per its rule given in the brochure of the individual institute. The scores published by them shall be final and shall not be subject to any appeal or revaluation.

The SET achievement card will be obtainable on the website for the time of one month after the date of announcement of result. The Entrance Test has a non refundable fees of rupees 500. Payment can be done through any one of the three options cash, demand draft or credit card. For making payment, do follow the instructions on the website. In case of payment by cash or demand draft, a challan need to be printed from the website from the payment option.
